Yeshua in the Passover

Pesach Story (Exodus 12:3 - 24)

1) The Passover Lamb was marked out for death.

2) The Passover Lamb must be perfect.

Exodus 12:5 - The Lamb must be unblemished

Deut 15:21 - Only that which is perfect can make atonement

3) The Passover Lamb must be roasted with fire.

Deut 32:22 - Fire in scripture speaks of G-d’s judgment

Isaiah 53:10 - Yeshua was a guilt offering

4) Not a bone of the Passover Lamb to be broken.

5) Bitter Herbs will be eaten.

6) The Unleavened Bread

Luke 12:1- Yeshua compares leaven to hypocrisy

1st Cor 5:6-8- We are "unleavened" because of Yeshua

7) The Blood on the door.

Exodus 12:22 - Lamb’s blood is applied to the door

John 10:9 - Yeshua is our door

Matt 26:28 - Yeshua’s blood is our atonement

Roman 5:9 - Yeshua’s blood saves us

Eph 2:13 - We are brought near

Heb 13:12 - We are sanctified

1 Peter 1:18 - We are redeemed

Rev 7:13-17 - Yeshua’s blood cleanses in the end times
