Our congregation (KRP has entered the month of January’ with a renewed sense of purpose and desire for a deepened covenant relationship with our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and one another. Already this year a number of new initiatives have begun which have the potential to deepen the roots of our community of faith. This month marked the return of regular shabbat Hebrew classes, offered at two levels of accomplishment. Please encourage our Hebrew language students (and their instructors, Leon Clymer and David Lindsey) as they ‘persevere to the end’ of this winter semester.

We now have a regular Tuesday evening study/prayer group that meets at the building, learning of Him and seeking Him. Everyone is encouraged to join us for this meeting. This meeting could be a source of midweek spiritual renewal for you.

Our Thursday evening Messianic dance classes continue to proceed well, being faithfully attended by a number of you. Messianic dance, sometimes termed Davidic dance, is one of the distinctives of our movement and our congregation.

Most notably, the successful implementation of a membership class that meets 2:00 pm every shabbat is proving to be a positive step forward for our congregation. A number of you have expressed your excitement and appreciation for this gathering and have been diligently working to complete the required material. This membership class could be further called a Discipleship class designed to solidify the spiritual cohesion within our kehilah (community) and equip us to reach out to those around us.
