Covenant Relationships

By Keith Intrater

Review by Joe Davidson

Covenant Relationships: is a handbook on the Biblical principles of integrity and loyalty. It lays important foundations for congregational health and right spiritual attitudes. You will be drawn
into a deeper understanding of the meaning of covenant and commitment to personal relationships.

Some of the topics you will learn about are: Relationships: The Meaning of Life, How a Blood Covenant Works, Financial accountability, Discipleship: Grooming Friendship, Patriotism and Political Impact

Keith Intrater is pastor of El Shaddai, a Messianic Jewish congregation, and serves a principal of Montgomery Count Covenant Academy, a Believing junior/senior high school.

We used Dan Justers book Growing To Maturity in our new members class this past year. It was a foundational introduction to the faith, but I think this book is foundational to the life of congregations and relationships. We cannot have successful community if we do not understand first of all our covenant of Salvation with Hashem and what it means as far as our covenant with each other is concerned. When I say each other I mean first, those closest to us, out family, then our congregation, our government, and then the World.

The principles outlined in this book are essential. We as believers in Messiah Yeshua need to take our faith seriously. We should model before the church and the world true community. How do we deal with marital problems and sin in our midst? We should not live as if we were members of some club of faith but as members one of another. We are bought with a price and we are not our own. Do we know what that means? We must if we are to fulfill the call of God on us to be a light to the world.

I highly recommend this book to all, especially those contemplating making a commitment of membership.
