Due Process

Several of the books I have read lately have been by Dan Juster Th.D. and president of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. Not only is Dr. Juster a great theologian but also he is also very practical and down to
earth.

The book Due Process is one of three books that ought to be a series even though they are not marketed as such. One of those books is Covenant Relationships by Keith Intrater reviewed previously. The other two are by Dan Juster, Due Process and Relational Leadership.

Due Process is a plea for Biblical Justice among G-d _s people. This book is about covenant accountability in the community of faith.

Our Father did not create fourteen hundred years of examples with the witness community of Faith, Israel to have it thrown out and reinvented by the wisdom of man. As the community of Faith has failed to understand
covenant, or community they have also failed to understand how one of the first callings of God to man was to be his brothers keeper.

Our Father had instituted Judges in ancient Israel to administer justice that there would be peace and security among the people of G-d. Our Lord Yeshua gave specific instructions about how offenses were to be handled
among believers. The first century Messianic Kehilot operated in the complete harmony with those models and motivated by love.

The elders of a local congregation should be the first and primary court for most people.

Dr. Juster draws on many and varied years of experience in ministry in his examples and is very practical in his applications of congregational discipline and its purposes.

This book is but another step in the process of restoring the body of Messiah back to its original power and authority. It should be must reading for anyone being considered for leadership and the local practical
applications of congregational discipline should be made known to any prospective member in advance. Kingdom business is the most important business in our lives! It should be treated that way!
